Telnyx’s reviewed SMS API supports sending and receiving carrier messages. This assessment does not establish native iMessage support. US local-number SMS pricing starts at $0.004 per message part plus carrier charges, with other number types and services priced separately.
Events need an application owner
The messaging guide documents event identifiers, signature verification, endpoint selection and retries. Per-message webhook settings can take precedence over profile settings. That makes configuration part of the debugging record: an event sent to the wrong endpoint is different from an event your handler rejected.
Use the current documentation for verification and acknowledgment details. Your worker still needs a durable record of accepted events and a policy for duplicate or delayed processing. The provider delivering a webhook does not prove the model completed the intended job.
The integration we would evaluate
Test a normal incoming message, a repeated event, a temporary endpoint failure and a human takeover. Preserve event IDs and timestamps while keeping unnecessary message content out of general logs. Check the actual sender and channel visible to the recipient.
This is a useful shortlist option for teams comfortable building their own messaging workflow. Compare the full workload cost and operational support alongside the per-part headline, particularly if the agent sends long responses or media.
